Dutch Semiconductor Supply Chain Tracker: 26 Companies Across Chips, Equipment, Photonics and Precision Engineering

A sourced map of companies active in the Dutch semiconductor ecosystem, from lithography and deposition to chip design, advanced packaging, photonics, metrology and precision suppliers.

Last reviewed: 2 September 2026. Values remain in their disclosed units. Missing capacity, spend or timing is not estimated.

The Dutch semiconductor sector is broader than ASML. It includes chip designers, wafer-processing and packaging equipment companies, photonic foundries, metrology specialists, electronics suppliers and a dense layer of precision-engineering businesses that help larger equipment makers build at scale.

This tracker is structured as a supply-chain map rather than a company ranking. Inclusion does not imply that semiconductor revenue is the same share of each company's business. It records the role for which the company appears in Dutch government, industry or ecosystem material.

Methodology

Companies are included where a Dutch government document, national semiconductor roadmap or Invest in Holland semiconductor guide identifies them as part of the Netherlands semiconductor ecosystem. The role column summarises the relevant capability rather than attempting to estimate semiconductor revenue.

The tracker distinguishes chip companies, semiconductor-equipment makers, photonics businesses and suppliers. Research institutions and universities are intentionally excluded from this company table and should be mapped separately in a future knowledge-institutions dataset.

How to cite this dataset

Use the dataset title, publication and review date. Project and company status can change, so citations should preserve the review date rather than describing the table as permanently current.
